I often wear all black to work. It’s easy to coordinate, it makes you look reasonably serious, and it’s just slightly attitudinal (especially when most of your clients are in French blue oxford shirts and khakis).

It’s hardly a unique sartorial strategy, but then I see this report on 40 Things Koreans Like:

About the color of clothes, 23 percent favored black while 16 percent liked white. It turned out that unlike the by-name “Nation of white clothes,” Koreans do not favor white clothes that much.

It makes me wonder if I picked it up during my trip to Seoul last year. Or maybe there’s some kind of hive mind telepathic thing going on.
