This afternoon I got a new cell phone carrier (Verizon) and a new phone (a Samsung a670). I really look forward to figuring out how this phone works: it’s got the camera, is Web enabled (though the number of Web sites that support cell phones are pretty scanty), and has other stuff that I don’t really know about yet, but will enjoy discovering.
Plus, they do repairs in the store, a sore point with my previous carrier, who decided to outsource its repairs to the World’s Slowest Repair Facility somewhere in Minnesota.
And the Samsung color screens are to die for. It’s going to be a challenge keeping the kids from playing with it.
