On Saturday, the kids and I went to the iPod store at Stanford Shopping Center. As soon as we went in, the children noticed a display of the new iPod Shuffles.
“Hey! What are those things?” my son asked.
My daughter read the sign. “They’re iPods… iPod… Stuffies.”
I asked, “Why do stuffies need iPods?”
“If you have an iPod, and you have a stuffie, you stuffie needs an iPod, too.”
The sales people were dying. They thought this was amazingly funny. And given that Apple is trying to sell more iPods, and figure out how to get loyal customers to buy second iPods, maybe the kids are onto something….
